Help me find the right prase for this picture.

Ok I'm working on my avatar picture, And wanted to know what you guys think. See I figure if I'm going to be posting more I should look good doing it. 8-) So what I'm doing is editing some pictures I took, And I'm looking for a good phrase. Ok ill start with the first two I took to make the one.

Me outside.

OK me inside with the glock .45

Now putting the two together. Nothing copy and past cant fix. lol

And the next few are just some phrases I posted in the pictures. So what do you think, Whats your favorite. Or Maybe you've got a good one that would fit well.

Re: Help me find the right prase for this picture.

Yellow text is fail. Can't read it over the picture.
Font choice is crap. Don't fall for the newbie mistake of "wow i need a great font!".
No. Font choice is important, but it has to be clean and simple.

Although the idea is valid, the execution seems a little 1990'sesque era.
The overall theme reminds me of visiting Geopages websites.

Possibly more variation in the images. Repeating one image, and changing the text gets a very over-used feel to it, very quickly.

Expand your abilities! Try some .gif animations, use a black border and and a large black box underneath to facilitate text placement without cluttering up the image. :)

You can use photoshop to change the size of the picture or the file. If you don't have photoshop, you could email it to someone that does.

I hear programs like photoshop are freely available on the internet.

Damn GutterClown I was just shooting for a simple avatar. This whole thing was 30 minute toy with windows paint.

I Guess I should thank you for the advice nothing like a little criticism. To make you rethink your process.

As for the Images. Yes I did take more than one for the same reason you listed ( Repeating one image, and changing the text gets a very over-used feel to it, very quickly).

So now your going to have me spending hours playing around in photoshop croping images, And trying to come up with a bad ass gif. Something Like I pick my way in. Only to find me hiding behind the door and pointing a gun to the back of my head. I think I'm going to need A stunt double.

Ahh, I didn't catch onto the fact you were making a single image avatar.

I assumed you were trying to make a series of images. Sorry about that.

Aah Hell no problem Brother I found your reply quite Helpful. After all if it wasn't for your reply I wouldn't have GIMP. That's a pretty nice program.

Re: Help me find the right prase for this picture.

I looked at a couple of your pictures. They seem to be about 30k.

If you don't want to mess with photoshop, let me know your favorite, how many pixels you want it, and the final size of the file in kb. Or just the final size in kb if you want.

I will grab your picture and repost it for you. The changes take about 30 seconds in photoshop.
