YouTube Help

Hi, I uploaded some lock picking videos to Youtube, that i spent the hole night making , but they are longer than 10 Mins, (No videos longer than 10 mins allowed,Nighmare!!)so it will not let me show them. Does anyone know how to edit them on Youtube to say 2 X 7min long videos, plus they got uploaded on there side, so i need to rotate them. Can you do this on Youtube? I can't get on with video editing programs ,you need to be have 3 doctorates in brain surgery ,plus i deleted the original from my camera because it tells you "upload successful" even though there to long?
Hope someone can help Thanks Simon

Re: YouTube Help

You will have to upload the first half and then the second half to get around the time limit.

Try adobe premier for video editting, its the best around. Just hope your comp can run it...

Youtube cannot rotate the video for you, there are alot of forums out there you could ask for help on this. I.E Adobes Forums.

Re: YouTube Help

It doesn't sound like you need a full featured video editor program just to split the file. Something like "Xilisoft video converter" should be able to do this type of thing. It's available on the Torrent sites. Simple program.

Can you download your original file from the YouTube user account? If so then it should be a simple fix to split it and re-upload it.

Re: YouTube Help

sounds like you were uploading directly from your camera to youtube?
if this is the case, upload the vids to your computer first, then to youtube.
disregard this if that is not the case. good luck, and i am looking forward to seeing your vids.

Re: YouTube Help

Sounds like you uploaded straight to you tube, save your vids to your p.c next time , then go to you-tube and up load ;)
