Auto Cylinders from the scrap yard

jeess, i just took a look at the shop GREAT or what! and the price looks great im sure its one of the best I've seen on the net. (woohoo)

I was thinking about getting auto cylinders from scrap yards ?Anyone tryed it! What would be the best way to get them out? from the inside of the car?

What cars (cylinders) are best to start on? Those klom picks look fine.how do you know if there in stock
Thanks Simon.

And did arrive at heaven gate,

He stood without and would not knock,

Because he meant to pick the lock.

Re: Auto Cylinders from the scrap yard

I grab them out of every dead car I pass. Most junk yards let you have them because they usually don't have keys and no one buys locks from junkyards for their cars. Try to gat sets like door, trunk ,glove box, ignition. Good for impressioning practice. Otherwise just walk around pulling the door panels, reaching in,pulling the clip, releasing the rod,and it's yours.
