White Puffballs

These are edible. I will take off outer (skin) layer and then cut the white, fleshy 'meat' in 2" thick slabs. (lots of shrinkage) Fry in butter/olive oil until slightly brown.

Seen loads of these 'football's' recently, didn't even dare think they would be edible.
