Saw a listing on Craigslist in my area. Here is the gist of it:

Crochet hook? L Shape Pin? Z shape pin? Tweezers? Maybe I should call him for advise on closers and different Adams Rite mortises.

I think he might be trying to avoid trouble for selling lockpick's, hence he isn't, he's selling 'crochet hooks'. What are the laws on picks in AZ Gordon? Only for locksmiths to carry?

Western Australian laws on picks are very sensible. Not illegal to buy / sell / possess, but you can be charged with 'Possession of Burglary Tools' if found on you in public without a security licence / credentials or a valid explanation. Same law applies to bump keys and other more stereotypical burglary tools like crowbars and hammers. Don't quote me on this, but I believe most other Australian states laws are similar / same.

Arizona is even more sensible. Unless they can prove intent to commit a crime (sneaking around a closed store late at night), it is not illegal to carry/use picks in Arizona. Some municipalities may have tighter regulations, but have not heard of any.

I was hoping to use those crochet hooks to make a nice set of socks or a replacement for the black bag. Maybe a color-coordinated set of handle covers to keep my hands from getting burned in our summer heat. Or from getting too cold in the winter. :D

And no, I didn't buy them. Just saw the listing and thought I'd share. ;)

Sales on ebay took a hit and needed a new revenue stream. These people never cease to amaze me. I bet they are top quality.
