There is just something so simple and elegant about bypassing. Like everything, one technique will not address every situation but when the goal is non-destructive entry I really admire the creativeness of people. Thanks for sharing!

Bypassing is great! And I bet you find more locksmiths that do that than pick locks, however it seems to be something that takes more to teach as a general skill than lockpicking. We have a lot of pin tumbler locks out there and the basic principles can be re-applied to different locks. It seems to me that when I start talking about bypassing there are a lot of ifs, ands, or buts.

Oh, also thanks for posting the slides! I really enjoy them. Couldn't get the movies to work, I assume he removed them for publication, but if I just can't computer, someone let me know.

Nice presentation, thanks for sharing.

dontlook, looks like you need the flash player plugin to see the videos. My .pdf reader asked me to install it but I declined since I prefer not to install it. Dunno if somebody could see the movies.

Cheers :)

I am not sure Flash player is the same as the required 3D player which displays the vids in this document. Have a look at this info: https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/using/e ... t-pdf.html. I just enabled for this specific document. HTH

Just a thought - are you using Acrobat X or above? Lower versions don't always play well with encryption and one other thing is if the document became corrupted when you downloaded it the same symptoms could occur. The document properties do not specify that a password is required to open.
