Eddie the wire wrote a book Home Work Shop Professional Lock Tools

He teaches how to best make picks that are narrower to fit tight locks but still retain their strength. It's a combination of knowing the correct metal to use and how to grind it without losing it's strength.

Most people can't be bothered to take the time, but for those that want picks that just can't be bought this book tells you how to make the best picks possible.
