MacNeale and Urban vault door
Just wondering if anyone also saw the show "Lone Star Restoration" that aired Monday night.The crew took out and reassembled an M and U vault door from an underground prohibition era bunker. It did not show as much as I would liked to have seen. They showed some of it being taken out and put back in. Also dipping it in solution to remove rust and crud and some sandblasting to remove paint. Showed some pin striping and reassembly. They nickel plated the crane hinge and dial but did not show the process of that. The door was estimated to weigh 1700 pounds.
