The CLUB

I just now finished putting on all the keys that fell off the key rack that I bought at the lumberyard/hardware store auction a couple weeks ago. I noticed a complete row of hooks dedicated to the 10 keyways for the CLUB. It's been well over 15 years, closer to 20, since I cut a key for the CLUB. Are they still being made? I'll take them off the rack and put on faster moving household blanks.

They are still being made. There are 15 keyways now, IIRC. But if you have not cut one in 15-20 years, I'd put them in a box or bag labelled "Club Keys" and put faster moving material if the real estate on your key board(s) is valuable.

Re: The CLUB

Honestly I dont remember when was the last time I have seen a club. I think by now everyone knows how useless they are and if someone is using it, that probably because they dont know or since they already spent the money on it why not use it.

Don't recall the last time I saw one at retail, but there're two or three at every Goodwill I go to :)

Re: The CLUB

I remember the commercials from when I was a kid - everyone had a club, lol

Re: The CLUB

They are ok as a visual second layer of protection slows them down 3 more minutes to take the car.
Plus is great to have in the car to club someone in the head that cuts you off. :hammering:

Re: The CLUB

they have them at walmart, target, etc... from the ones I've seen they are all the same keyway.
