Lock Pick Village in Toronto this weekend

Toool Toronto including myself will be running a Lock Pick Village this Saturday July 9th 9am - 5pm and Sunday July 10th 10am - 5pm at the Maker Festival at Toronto Reference Library

I already have one volunteer from the forum but I thought I would post a message here to call on any other Southern Ontario lockpickers.

The event is spread out over all 3 floors but we will be to the left past the entrance gates on the first floor.
If you wanted to spend some time teaching people lockpicking and meeting some other pickers there would be free food and drink provided for all volunteers once you get a pass/name tag.

It would be great to see some of you guys out on either day.

Thanks

Jacob

You are closer than me! I'm 3,600 km away! You need to go this time, Mal. :P

Re: Lock Pick Village in Toronto this weekend

Great Job at the Maker Festival. You did a fine job of representing the community, and It was cool to hear people shout excitedly as they picked a lock for the first time "I GOT IT". I envy them. I still get a rise every time I pick a lock for the first time, but it's not the same as that first ever successful attempt. Like many things in life, the first time may not be the best, but it's always special.

If you need a volunteer for the next one, I clean up quite well. I'll even wear a tie and trousers.
