Has anyone else seen the 2014 Al Pacino movie, Manglehorn ? I saw it last month on TV and can't believe I sat for 97 minutes just for that. It's about a lonely Texas locksmith who has a constipated cat and is looking for a relationship with his favorite bank teller and also trying to repair his relationship with his son. Some of the 'good' scenes in the movie show Manglehorn partially drilling a safe open, cutting a few keys , opening a locked car and destroying his thousands of "return to sender" apologetic love letters to his ex-wife. The budget for this movie was $4M, with box office earnings of under $133K. Watch it if you dare. Are Texas locksmiths really like this ???

It seemed to me that his being a locksmith wasn't really part of the film other than he had to do something for money.

It was a really dry film though.
