Re: What did you receive in the mail today?

So, I've been totally away from locks for several months, due to a combination of time constraints and a LOT for work!
Changed position at my company, leading to me spending a couple of months training my replacement as well as myself getting adjusted into my new spot. A good few months of time has passed.

About a week ago I got the urge to pick up my picks again and sift through some of the locks I bought prior to my hiatus, and it felt good.
One thing I never got around to buying was a "movable" vice. I used a bench-mounted type, but it was a lot of hassle.
Yesterday I found a decent one for a very reasonable price online, and decided to get it from a company I thought operated from Norway.
After ordering and paying, I later realized that they shipped from Eindhoven, Netherlands...
I ordered expedited shipping (for the hefty sum of ~$10.50) overnight, but figured no way...
About 24 hours later, today, I receive a call from the shipper that he expects to be at my work in about 10 minutes

All in all, ~$50 including overnight shipping for a very nice vice.
Now... Back to the locks :boxing:

Re: What did you receive in the mail today?

Picked up my order from Sparrows from the post office today. The main items were the practice locks + reload kit and the comp case (for my go to picks when picking at home). I also thought I'd try out the offset hybrid, tron and full dent as well as some other picks I've been curious about. Also got some shims. My main pick order is coming later. Merry Xmas to me :)

Edit: I must say I'm very happy with the Tron pick. I'm getting excellent feedback from it.

Got my other order today. From Peterson. I ordered it at the same time as my Sparrows order, but this one was a bit slower and got stuck in customs over Xmas. Got some spares and some of their new pick models.

Realized before Christmas, while going over my picks, that I didn't have extras of my Peterson Gem and H1 in .025"
Ordered some spares and they arrived today

Ordered the "7 pin adversary" bundle just after Christmas and it finally arrived! Pics include my makeshift pinning tray.

I was keeping an eye out for UPS all afternoon, and I'm excited to get started. Harder than it looks so far!

Abloy Disclock switch with keys.

Corbin Master Ring cylinder.

Two keys that would be tough locks to pick, if I had the locks to go with them (wish I did have the locks, but the keys are still cool!). Intellikey and Assa Cliq.

And a pin kit.

Take another look at the pins up above.

Yep. Emhart.

Great big thanks to Mastersmith! Appreciate the sale of the Emhart kit, and really appreciate the extras!
