Re: What did you receive in the mail today?

Another $8 lot of padlocks from Goodwill's online auction site. Unfortunately no Fichet locks in this lot. :( No keys or combinations, but isn't that the fun part?

Image

There is no Fichet, but there is a Chubb Battleship! Not bad for $8. I even have a blank that fits. Once I have time, it will have a key.

I watched the Lockpicking Lawyer pick the NYCHA ABUS 34/55 on his YouTube channel. I went to eBay and bought two!

Re: What did you receive in the mail today?

Just unwrapped 3 older Diebold safe locks. 1970's I believe.
Two locks are 177-23 and the other is a 177-23 B.
The plan is to clean them up best as I can.
After reading about a similar lock in the "Safe Manipulation Kit" pass around.
Had to get my hands on one.
All locks are used and pretty dirty but seem to be in working order.
Need 2 spline keys.
It will be awhile before I get them spinning.
Photos and questions will be coming.

An eBay win of Mul-T-Lock!

Image

Small Interactive pin kit, Interactive pin gauge, Interactive + mortise with both keys and card, pinning mat (to match another one I have), MTL pinning tweezers (they are made to hold the very thin inner pins), MTL screwdriver (flips so is both slotted and Phillips) and various current catalogs and brochures.

Not bad for about $75 including shipping.

nice score, I was watching that auction (of one just like it) but it got a little higher then I wanted to pay.

0883.jpg

After over half a year of waiting, it finally arrived! I purchased an S&G 0883 from SecuritySnobs (It took a while because it was a custom order) and it's significantly teenier than the 0881. The key is also **much** smaller (A lot like the old Abloy cam locks) so this is a completely different lock than the 0881. It's the middle lock in this picture - the No. 3 is only there for size reference.

Nice, Ted. :)

What made the order custom?
