Today was the live auction with the pictured lock in it. I had posted earlier this week but only was able to inspect it today. As in photo, dial nose cap is missing.I left a bid with the auctioneer as I couldn't stay for the entire auction. Apparently I was not high bidder as I haven't heard from the auctioneer.

Nice roller bolt lock. Love the nice fat block of wood it is mounted on. Sorry you didn't get it.

Gees Gordon....at the auction I was telling the auctioneer what kind of lock it was (roller bolt) but yet I called it a swing bolt in the thread. It must have been the change in temperature here (58 today). It'll be back in the 20s again shortly. Thanks for the correction.

Know you know the correct term. Just clarifying for the newer members who may not.

Oh yeah, that's nice. Sorry you're bid didn't stick... that would've been a beautiful score.
I too like the way it was mounted. I have a few locks that may need something like that.

I was told it was a 'clerical' error by the auctioneer's wife but all is well now. I was informed this morning that I did indeed get the winning bid on the mounted S&G roller bolt safe lock. I did pick it up and will post break- down photos in a few days. I can now stop crying in my Cheerios.

Uh-oh! Mike is pretty spun up. Better get him some gut shots quick!

Re: S&G swing bolt safe lock
due to a priority------what could be more important than roller-bolt gut shots? , i will have to extend the time for the break down pics by a couple days.
