Its impossible to find it. It was not taped shut propperly and it burst open in processing.

So what do they do with the locks after they find the locks fell out of a package? Does everything in the package just go in the trash?

Not sure of the specifics, but they might hold it for a period if its valuable to see if somebody looks for it, they might just throw it away, or somebody might take it home. They have no way of them saying this item came from your box and calling you so there is nothing they can really do on their end.

here in the Uk you can fill out a form and send it bacl to the postal office and take it from there, im sure post offices or sorting offices have some sort of security to stop their staff just lifting goods.

no one stole the goods, they fell out of the box at a sort facility
