How to get the lock out of a doorknob

I have a doorknob. Inside of it is a lock I want, because it has a cover on the bible so I can use it to change out pins easily (It's a kwikset). The problem is that it's in the doorknob and there doesn't seem to be a way to get this sucker out of here without a hacksaw.

Any ideas?
