Raking is easy???

I found out why this lock would not open : after a while of the plug turning to what i thought was an deep false set and not opening i decided to change the core and try that but when i put in the key i find the locks jammed i cant turn the key to open the shackle thats the reason why it never opened for me after all this time i think i had it picked at least 7 times but since the plug never turned i thought i needed more work come to find out my lock sucked now its stuck forever closed about to be tossed in the trash for a new one.
