i did that "put the plug in backwards " thing ,too
i think we all did at one time..
dont worry,Mike ,every time you break down an american and put it back together it gets easier.
soon you will get it down,so its just a matter of steps...
just take it one step at a time..
work in a defined space,so when things go flying,(and they will...)
you can find all the pieces ..
you may consider getting some tweezers.
when you replace the drivers,start in the middle,and work your follower,one pin at a time,
out the other end, then work your way back from there..that way you are never reaching more than three chambers deep with your tweezers.
just a little practice ,and i know you will be gutting 1100's on cam..

in a perfect world i would have a LAB repinning set, or at the very least a repinning mat. I mean a LAB set would be fantastic, but I cant justify spending stupid money on something like that.
