If I have to rake a lock I consider it a fail!
SPP is sometimes more difficult but this is locksport and if it was easy it wouldn't be fun.

I practice all opening methods. I don't want to get so used to one that I forget to just shim it or bump,or whatever. Balance in all things,eh?

I prefer SPP when I pick for recreation but lately I have been training my rake technique because of my choice of career.

If i could only follow the plan chaps , i do ssp when and where !
but more often than not i succumb to the rake (dble half diamond is
fav) as i'm a bit kak ! (although i'm about to do a thread on this)

I primarily SPP. I pick locks because I like to solve the puzzle. However, there does come a time with some locks that I have to resort to a combination of the two to get the lock open but I don't consider the puzzle to be solved unless I can repeat the procedure.

Only Spp beause i think im to dumb for rake^^
what can i say it dosent open, sometimes when i try to pick a new lock
and im about to cry then i rake to bring false set as an let me say it this way "last stand"^^

Wish i could say SPP , but the sad truth is that if i'm struggling i
reach for my trusty double half diamond , if that fails then
