Do I need to buy some other sort of converter?

Mate your going to have to buy a new adaptor, they are cheap and nasty and dont last long, or get yourself an inverter, and from experience try to buy the 240v version striaght up if you can cause you might find you going to have to in the long run anyway.

Mick.

Mick - I PM'd FordXTC and after swapping messages, it appears that the positive voltage center pin of the charging receptacle (below the trigger switch on the EPG) is broken off.

That's his problem - no center pin - no juice in the batt'y.

Actually it is the receptacle in the EPG handle that has the broken charging pin. You have to dismantle the entire pick gun - which probably voids the warranty.

Re: Klom EPG Question

I just received my klom epg today. At first I was surprise at the size of the attachments, then I realised it makes sens for them to be small.

If that's all that's wrong with it (broken pin in the charging hole) it should not be very difficult to fix if you own a soldering iron.

Yep, you gotta remember...it's a pickgun - not a jackhammer.

Hope you enjoy it, man.

Re: Klom EPG Question

Back to the main topic;

Does anyone have any information on the rubber ended attachments that go into the chuck? Are they for lever's?

Rotating disc locks? ;P
