Newest family member

Like to share the latest member of my family - THANK you macgng.

Couldn’t really afford it but it was such a good price and I’m sure you all (y’all) can sympathise with my addiction.

I’ll leave it to Mr Anybody in my will along with my calipers.

Re: Newest family member

Isn't she sooo sweet!!?? Big Congrats on such a wonderful addition to the family.

That's very kind of you, Neilau. I'll send you a pic of it for your bedside table, Gordon. After all, I wouldn't want you to miss out :D

And I can assure you that your baby will have a good home, with all the luxuries a lock of such stature would expect. Which means she'll get here own draw in the lock cabinet (mainly because nothing else will fit once her bad-assed body is in the drawer), a piece of bubble wrap to lay down on, and long conversations when she comes to the vice. I'll even move the Ruko 2 and Ruko 4-5 I already have to the drawers next to her. That way she won't get lonely.

While I don't have a nice pic of the 4-5 with me. He's the company she'll be keeping. My oh-so-sweet Ruko 2 with a 7 pin ASSA cylinder. Using the same pin types in Han Fey's cutaway article on ASSA locks.

:D :D

Thank you, my friend. It will go next to the picture of the VAC you sent with the Christmas card.

Don't believe him!!! He keeps unpolished picks and a set of bolt-cutters right next to that lock cabinet!!! He uses threats and intimidation tactics on his locks. He only moved the Ruko 2 down with the Ruko 4-5 because the Ruko 2 is a paid informant! :whip:

Sure, on the surface MrAnybody seems nice, but behind that muffin-eating façade there lurks the fiend who drinks tea at will.

P.S. sorry - it is about 2:47 in the morning, and waaaay past time for bed.

Once I pop it (note the positive thinking :D ) I don't think that I'll need to post as I think everyone will hear the "YYiii Haahh" where ever you are.

At the moment I'm researching and just gently feeling my way around inside.

I meant to put a lot of    in the original post.

Unpolished picks and a set of bolt-cutters - surely not !!! :D

Ruko in English means pick eater, your hooks will look like lightning bolts after picking that the first time . :kickyoass:

MBI posted a picture of some picks made by Elbow that looked like a very-well-polished lightning bolt. Maybe that is what happened to it.

I protest! Such slander! Undoubtedly Gordon is very deluded (probably brought on by sleep deprivation). How dare you, sir! My Ruko 2 being a paid informant  Outrageous, sir!

While my tea drinking is well under control, and certainly doesn't have *cough* too much of an impact of those patient people around me. To then wave accusations on the storage of my bolt-cutters beggars believe.

Don't believe him, Neilau. Do not waver from your dying wish. Do not take on this malicious slander, sir. Hold fast :D

And if you need any further reassurance, my bolt cutters are under the bed :D
