My Lock Collection

Here's my collection. Over half of them are still packed up from a move a while ago. I'll update it as I unpack.

Re: My Lock Collection

Got one of those lockout locks like your orange one I use at work. Never looked twice at it until I started picking and collecting.
Might have to " lose " it and order a replacement.

Re: My Lock Collection

That Corbin was one of my first locks and the tight keyway made it the bane of my existence for quite some time.
As for the lock-out locks, there's one thing I don't understand - it has a plastic body yet contains (usually) 5 spools. I guess it's for tamper resistance but to me it seems pointless.

Thanks! I love lookin' And looking forward to seeing more as you unpack.

On your second picture down, far left.... that little tiny combo dial. What's that?

Re: My Lock Collection

Oh.. that little guy?
Probably one of my favorites - a locksmith in Texas sent me that beauty. As far as I know it was an under-the-counter bank teller drawer lock. I LOVE it. Such a 'cute' little lock.
Very cool design too. Maybe, if you guys are lucky, ill post gut-shots. ;)

Re: My Lock Collection

Seen a few of those combination cam locks around. Want to get one for my collection.

I Spy...

Corbin Master Ring
Cruciform lock cylinders
Papaiz padlocks (also likely to be cruciform)
ABLOY padlock - wonder what system it uses. Any chance of a picture of the keyway?
Swiss Round double lock cylinder - Dimple lock, by any chance?
A tubular keyed gun lock?
An older brass Eagle lock

You have some nice stuff there, UnlockD. Thanks for sharing!

Re: My Lock Collection

From left - right Papaiz, Eagle.. I'm sure you guys can figure out the others.
Sadly the Abloy is regular keyway - thought for 6 bucks W/ 2 working keys at a surplus store, I couldn't say no.. in fact I bought 2 :).
