Keymaster1053's locks part 2!!!!

My other thread was getting too long, so I decided to do Part 2. :) so here goes:
IMG_1881.JPG

Another Chicago No-key padlock.
IMG_1882.JPG

a couple of Supra Products real estate box keys, and Chubb key.
IMG_1884.JPG

an Old Medeco level one cam lock core.
IMG_1885.JPG

IMG_1886.JPG

This is an OLD style Medeco padlock removable core. Level one. back then you didn't use a key to remove the cyl. like today, there is a small pin at the back of the core, this is visible inside the shackle hole when the lock is open. to depress that pin, the key must be turned, so I had to open it, I modified a blank and inserted it before drilling, this was to push more of the pins into the path of the drill. :) and it opened like butter.
IMG_1887.JPG

IMG_1888.JPG

Here is a "peanut" cylinder. I put it next to a normal sized one for comparison.
IMG_1889.JPG

IMG_1890.JPG

This is an old Eagle lock mailbox lock, but it's different as it's a latch, not a bolt. this is the only one like it I've seen.
IMG_1891.JPG

Medeco Level 5 Knob cylinder.
IMG_1892.JPG

IMG_1893.JPG

IMG_1894.JPG

IMG_1895.JPG

An Old Sesamee combo padlock, the only one of this style I've ever seen. there's a lever on the back that leads me to believe you can change the combo yourself.
IMG_1896.JPG

IMG_1897.JPG

Helmar Brewing Company padlock. these liquor bottle locks have a story all their own, I bought this off of Ebay and the auction had this in the description: I bought a bunch of these padlocks several years ago because I had never seen any locks
quite like these. Each padlock has a glass lens with a photograph behind it. I recently
wrote to Helmar Brewing Company to try to get more information about these padlocks. Here
is the reply I got from Charles Mandel, the President of Helmar Brewing Company:

"We made those a few years ago as part of a special closure for a beer bottle. I recall
that there were a huge number of different designs, somewhere around 650. Most designs had
only 3 pieces made. Some designs had as few as one lock made, a handful had as many as nine.
Around 500 of the designs were sports figures, nearly all of them were baseball related.
Hope this answers your questions. Charles Mandel, President Helmar Brewing Co."

Based on what Mr. Mandel says, these padlocks are in limited numbers. This one confidently
states 'YOU DON'T KNOW BEANS UNTIL YOU COME TO BOSTON, MASS'. This lock is unusual in that
it is deadlocking (takes the key to lock as well as unlock), yet the shackle is
spring-loaded. This lock is in very good condition and works perfectly.

Re: Keymaster1053's locks part 2!!!!

here are some more I dug out. :)
an Extra PC top security padlock with keys
IMG_1915.JPG

an S&G 826C US government padlock 1974 no keys
IMG_1916.JPG

a Promotional combination padlock advertising Versed pharmacuticals.
IMG_1917.JPG
IMG_1918.JPG

an antique door latch, oddly the knob does nothing, to retract the latch, you need to put a finger underneath and push the button up.
IMG_1919.JPG
IMG_1920.JPG

This is a locking cylinder used by the local cable company around here. you turn the key which allows a ball bearing to retract on the back side, allowing you to pull off the box cover that the cyl. is attached to.
IMG_1921.JPG
IMG_1922.JPG

This is a Briggs and Stratton key decoder. The original GM cars used these keys decades ago, and when you inserted the key into this reader, you could tell the cuts instantly.
IMG_1923.JPG
IMG_1924.JPG

A bag of misc. Medeco plugs, cores, cyls.
IMG_1925.JPG

This is a HUGE surface mounted skeleton key deadbolt. Very Heavy! quarter in one of the pics for size comparison!! I'll be making the key for this one soon. :)
IMG_1927.JPG
IMG_1928.JPG
IMG_1929.JPG

2 keyed alike National 4 pin 7/8" long cylinder. smaller than the standard 1" used today
IMG_1930.JPG

antique Huber rim cyl. no keys.
IMG_1931.JPG

another little Penny bank with lock.
IMG_1932.JPG
IMG_1933.JPG

and one more Penny bank without a lock, or door for that matter!
IMG_1934.JPG

and More........
IMG_1982.JPG

IMG_1985.JPG

a Weissenfels Chain Link Lock with two keys and two blanks.
IMG_1986.JPG

A Guri Padlock
IMG_1988.JPG

IMG_1992.JPG

A Beautiful Yale Single Nose, Dual Plug Safety Deposit box lock! Bank key goes on the right, then when the renter turns their key, it both retracts the bolt, and releases the bank key. then the renter can just relock when done and can't re-open without the bank key again.
