Still fairly mundane- the case you see is a backgammon case I'm in the process of modding- I laid all the tools out to sketch out cuts for the foam, but then I figured I might as well get a shot of the locks too! Nothing too special yet.

Yes, great start! I'd love to see the pick case after you've modified it.

And that SouthOrd slimline looks like it's been in some wars. lol

which one? All of my southords are slimline.

On a related note, I am always looking for more locks- with the padlocks that sour is sending in, my new top priority is mortises! :)

A look at the updated collection:

IMG_20120518_142758.jpg

Top row: Brinks commercial padlock, American 50, American 5200, Ace 5200 clone, American 1100, WB, Uhaul Abus 85/40 clone, Magnum 240, USLock laminated padlock, Barlock (shitty masterlock clone) Master #7, Cheap Chinese warded lock

Middle row: Masterlock pro series, Master combo lock, A pair of tiny pin tumbler padlocks, Mul-T-Lock interactive KIK, Two Sargent KIKs, kwikset KIK

Deadbolts: One sargent, one Baldwin

Bottom row: American 700, ASSA Twin 6000, MTL Interactive, Sargent, two cheap-ass wafer drawer locks.

Absent is another american 5200 which is currently en-route to Don's after I 180'd the plug and sent all the driver pins through the holes in the bottom.

Nice! I've screwed up a few American cylinders, they are now in the scrap heap lol.
I don't think I even have a Sargent deadbolt cylinder, and I am the Sargent king! I will have to check.

UPDATE!

A big thank-you goes out to Don, who was generous enough to send me many of the new arrivals seen here. Notable additions include a schlage KIK fittingly dubbed "the lock from hell" (8-2-8-2-8 bitting and maddening security pins), a medeco classic KIK, lots of cool cam locks (including a pair of Abloys), too many awesome padlocks and bike locks to list, kwikset deadbolts and rim cylinders, and three euro cylinders, which I am pretty sure are Yale, but not positive.

Immediately following the taking of this picture, my collection has shrunk, as I have packed up some locks which I will be sending to another new member. Though it's a little sad to see the collection shrink and to part ways with many of the locks I learned the ropes on, I am thrilled to have the chance to pay it forward to a new member, as the keypicking community so kindly did for me.

Here's a shot of the bunch!
