Re: MacGnG's Lock Collection

That's some serious lock porn right there.

Gotta start paying more attention to the flea markets and garage sales on the weekend instead of spending all my time trying to pick my puny collection.

I was told by the guy i got it from, that apparently they also make a F3D padlock. however i haven't been able to get more info on it.

I think you need to pay Fichet €200 to get a price for the F3D padlock. The actual lock is expensive. ;-)

Gordon

I'd even go higher than that as an estimate, Gordon. Plus, I've never been able to find any documentation from Fichet (or a retail offer) on a F3D padlock. Nor an example of an F3D cylinder that would be adaptable for a padlock body. I'd very eager to see it, if anyone else can come up with an example.

But saying that, I have this really nice paper from Michael Huebler on the F3D mechanism. Very juicy stuff. https://toool.nl/images/f/fe/The_Fichet ... hanism.pdf

Enjoy, enjoy

Re: MacGnG's Lock Collection

MrA - the €200 is what I suspect the price is to find out the information on the price for the F3D padlock. As I said, the actual padlock would be expensive - not "cheap" like the price to get the information about the padlock's price. :-)
