DIY Dave's lock collection

Here's my lock collection. Today I'm only uploading my higher security locks, but soon I will add a cutaway and some of my other locks. Most of these have been salvaged from the junk bin at work.

Re: DIY Dave's lock collection

You have some nice locks there! The KABA Peaks locks are unusual! And I'll add my drool to that left by Oldfast over the American with the Medeco core.

Nice, nice!

I have to admit to lusting after the Kryptonite padlock you got there :D And a big +1 on the 3600 with Medeco cylinder.

The links to the first to links are busted. Love to see them.

Many thanks for sharing, Dave. And I look forward to seeing more.

Yeah, AG, I didn't get the schage or the kryptonite either so minneapolis has the same glitch that budapest has.

Re: DIY Dave's lock collection

Dave, any interest in trading that Sargent LFIC for something else? I do not have one of those keyways.

Re: DIY Dave's lock collection

Vintage locks

Kwikset knobs aren't anything special, but I saved this one because it's an ancestor to most modern day residential knobs. I had a customer want it removed because it was tarnished, but it works perfect (and it's probably 30 years old). They don't make them like they used to. I thought about keying it to a vintage key, but I decided to use a color key I had laying around (I always loved the color keys as a kid)
