I mostly get them from ebay or the members here. Trades always work wonders!
I've found a handful of locks locally, through garage sales or friends who do building maintenance.

I got some new (to me) locks today. One of the guys who I work with at the hardware store had them in his attic, he used to help a guy fix windows and install locks etc.
All of this stuff is used, some of it needs keys, did I mention it was free? :)

1 KW1 keyway knob (no key)
1 Schlage knob cylinder
1 Schlage double cyl deadbolt (no keys) does not look like it was ever used!
1 Schlage single cyl deadbolt (no keys)
1 old style door latch
and some misc parts.

Looks like a great haul man. I've watched a few of your vids looks like you have an awesome collection of things there not just locks. I especially like the fire alarm.

i'm in the process of relocating to a new city, so it always makes me jealous to witness other folk's workshop spaces. being without my pinning mat and assorted locks is frustrating to say the least...either way, your collecting is going really well i might say. and congrats on that american lock posted earlier, i always have trouble with them, and can only get a few every blue moon. keep it up, helps others motivate too!

I don't know much about it, but other than the markings it looks pretty much identical to an American Military lock I have, 1970's issue.

I've only picked it once, but it didn't look like there was any non-destructive way to take it apart. I lost the key for it a while ago...
To me, it looks like those 'shoulders' probably get swagged down after assembly.

edit
I picked it again today, it didn't put up much of a fight this time. I must be getting better.
