A few years has passed. Time for an updated family portrait :)

A rare shot as my wife wouldn't allow me to display all of them anywhere in the house...

Re: kk500's Lock Collection

Wonderful! I'm not a lock collector but I would keep a lot of those if I had them.

What are those two in the back right corner?
In fact, would you list the padlocks for us? Soon to become my 2014 Christmas list...

Re: kk500's Lock Collection

Those look like Miracle Locks. Normally they have a disc detainer lock core, but you can find them with an Ingersoll core, too.

Re: kk500's Lock Collection

Basically the shackle is pointing down just like the S&G?
How about the horizontally laminated locks in back? Are those lever locks? Who makes them? They have a real solidity about them that I like.

I like them all so much I downloaded the picture.

Re: kk500's Lock Collection

The two locks in the back right are the horizontally laminated locks. Now that am looking with my computer instead of my phone, can see a bit better. The inner of the two is an Ingersoll Impregnable. The Ingersoll is a type of lever lock, and is much more difficult to pick than I am capable at this time. The outer one makes me think of the Miracle Lock with the Ingersoll core. It could be 'just' another Ingersoll.

That is certainly a drool-worthy collection. There are a number of those that are (or soon will be) on my wish list. KK500, thank you for sharing!

Re: kk500's Lock Collection

I intended to write "vertically" laminated locks. What are the three to the left and right of center with shutters hanging over the keyway in the back row?

GW is such a stickler for precise descriptive language! :kickyoass:

Re: kk500's Lock Collection

Ah, sorry for my misunderstanding, flywheel. Yes, those are lever locks. Exceedingly nice ones at that. :)

Re: kk500's Lock Collection

Funny how out of place that Master seems.

Who makes those hefty lever locks?
What is the "TALOK" in the middle? Google shows me "talk" padlocks instead.

Take it easy! :D
