One of my freinds says it's multi shear lock. could he be correct?
I haven't had any luck picking it yet...

This is a Yale 800 series padlock. I picked mine open the other day but it was a tricky bugger, had to SPP it and I'm sure there are at least 2 decent security pins in there. It wouldn't play at all until I sprayed a load of WD40 in there then after that it got easier.

The one you have there looks quite old from the way the Yale logo is stretched around the lock, the newer ones just have 'YALE' without the stretching. Decent padlocks though...
