Farmerfreaks pile O' locks

I normally don't have my locks all nice and organized. But I gathered up the majority of them and threw them on a table for ya.

...If one of those padlocks doesn't look real. It's because it isn't.

A pile of non high-security stuff.

And last, my pile of Assa twin cylinders.

Great Pile O' Locks, like the shot of all the ASSA's. Have you modded a Medeco yet to make it unpickable???

Nope, haven't modded a Medeco yet. I usually leave the high security stuff left unmodded. But simply by mentioning that, you are putting thoughts in my head.

Re: Farmerfreaks pile O' locks

hey Farmerfreak, is that lock on the far fight side of your ASSA picture a cutaway? I've never seen an ASSA Twin Cutway, if it is, awesome.
Naaapaalm...sticks to kids...it sticks to the belly and it sticks to the ribs...
See those kids standing by the lake...drop some napalm and watch them bake.

Re: Farmerfreaks pile O' locks

Yep, it's a hand made Assa cutaway. It was made from spare parts, the plug is out of a mortise cylinder, and the housing is a key in knob. ...I made it work. I also made a Schlage Primus cutaway and a Medeco Biaxial cutaway.

Re: Farmerfreaks pile O' locks

Earlier today my boss was getting something out of his desk drawer and I happen to see a Sargent Keso where he was looking. I started to get excited and asked if I could borrow it. He said sure, and right after he handed it to me he grabbed a Dom IX from his desk... I believe I was drooling.

So far I've spent a roughly equal amount of time on both of them, 30-45 minutes a piece. One is significantly harder to pick than the other one. Based on the fact that I've only managed to get one of them picked so far.

These locks aren't mine so I'm sure I will have to give them back. But that's cool, I'm happy to get the chance to play with them. :D

Re: Farmerfreaks pile O' locks

Very cool, I have a Sargent Keso as well, mine looks a bit different from yours though, not a mortise cylinder, much smaller in diameter. Have had no luck on picking it either.

Nice collection, FF. If you don't have the control key for thatSargent removable core, I'll be glad to make you one.
