It's all gotta start some place right..?
Here's my "collection" as of today 25.01.2016:
These are all cheap-o's, but I've found them good to practice feel and look.

Tiny China-made, <5 sec pick

Another China-made, <20 sec pick (the reason it's that "high" in secs is because of incredibly poor build quality. The key often takes the same time to open...)

Yet another China-made, only Diskus, <10 sec pick

Master Craft protected, <10 sec pick

Master Craft protected (tall), <10 sec pick

NB! I haven't included "all" my TrioVing cylinders as they are up for trade.

Look on the bright side..... They probably offered more resistance than most Masters hahahahaha. Good start and a good way to get the feel for what's going on. Oh and yes some of those cheapies will throw you off not because of poor technique but just crappy build quality.

Your absolutly right. We all started with a master or a cheapo lock. I still have the little box (about 4x4x4) that all of my locks and tools would fit into. I even wrote Papa's locks on it so my wife would know not to throw it out lol.

Doogs is very right. I have a bag of cheapos with a surprising plastic bible. Just imagine what will happen its used for some time or if you start picking it regularly lol. Madness. I imagine the pins could get stuck int he plastic and the bible chambers would open to where the driver can fit into the side and pop out the lock lol

It's start, before long you'll be buying shelves wind organizing bins.

I have Guardian Security padlock with a plastic core. It got a bit finnicky after picking it a lot. I used it for a destructive entry video. Suprisingly the brass plug broke and the plastic held. https://youtu.be/b1niZhz-c1o

Hi and welcome.

Get a couple of Master 140 . They are good for learning about spool pins and will give you a bit more of a challenge.

I agree wit OF. Very nice pictures.

I've added two (actually three) more locks, both mass-produced generic stuff.

One similar to my "baby" China-make, but now in a ~40mm edition.
A bit more challenging, but still <1 min

Here's a bike lock I bought, thinking I'd check the quality.
Boy was I wrong, all those years I locked my bike with a similar thing... <15 secs

And something else I received today.. I ordered (on ebay, from China) a pick set, with a practice padlock (see-through thing).

Those picks are the saddest thing I've ever seen and felt! So rough, no sanding and polishing could save them.
Glad I didn't start with those, or I might have given up before I got started.

I have also traded some of my TrioVing stuff for some goodies.
Getting a very nice padlock from RJ, and a surprise package from Papa Gleb!
I only wish the mail didn't take so long from US <-> Norway......

Nice start to your collection! Reminds me a lot of when I started out, all of... 2 or 3 months ago :D. As davesnothere11 said it won't be long before you need shelves, boxes, bins....

Oh, and I love your photo taking - bright, clear background and well lit, thumbs up!

Iv put together a nice package. Like a said a full array of locks from beginner to more complex to death :). Figured since Im sending you a box might as well give you a few hard ones so you can start on those and so when the time comes that you are ready for them youll have them handy.

I noticed that pick set being sold on ebay. I'm surprised the product is getting through without the "ebay community watch" reporting it.

I don't really have a setup for photos anymore, haven't had one for years.
My photos are simply taken with my iPhone with a sheet of blank paper, rested on my desk.

If I ever set up another photobooth, I'll post pictures.
