That's fantastic Gleb! A special little place right there!
No doubt you've put alot of time & effort into it. I love it.

And I spot me a safe dial :D

And... it's good to see you finally come out of the closet
C'mon... SOMEONE was going to say it. lol

Re: Organization!!!

ahahahahaa you guys are great. Thanks for the laughs. I had to utalize every inch I had. Honestly these pics are after major re-organization and cleaning because before that organizer, I had everything in shoe boxes and really wanted to get far away from them. Just image if I needed to get a lock which is in the bottom box, that meant everything had to be taken out just to get to it then everything went back in and if I forgot to grab something else, out everything would come again. A true pain not to mention both of my boys LOVE my closet, the big one already knows the deal but the little one will hear the closet door handle turn half across the apartment and jet right over stumbling and taking a few falls on the way but in seconds he dives in whatever he can reach. Its fascinating but he doesn't react like this to any other closet, bathroom cabinets, nothing.

The board is not metal and i think its a 1/8th or which ever is smaller. Fractions are alien math for me. Its a very good way to organize.

Re: Organization!!!

hanging on that board mixed in with all of the others. I dont have an official display, at least not yet but even if I did there wouldnt be much to display, maybe 10 or so locks. Im still thinking and re-thinking how things will proceed. That side of the wall has depths so I thought to remove the peg board and hang a slate board with long hooks to store similar brands and on the other side of the closet hand the pegboard with worthy locks on it.

Re: Organization!!!

I was doing some work at a grocery store and there were a few racks in the back that the manager said I could take anything I wanted from. I had to double check she was ok with it because this is what I came home with. I'm still putting my locks on it.

I don't know why the photos have rotated. I didn't take them that way or store them that way, sorry.

Re: Organization!!!

Apparently "piles" is not a valid organisational method for my wife. I got busy today and cleaned things up. Pad locks up top for easy pickings, locks to trade off, tools, etc in bins, and mortise/cam/other locks in trays with lids.

Yes you do Mike. A very nice display. I drilled a hole in the top so that I could drop the change key in it.
