And just thinking of all the ones that are still boxed up? Makes me giddy :D

I remember when you acquired that one... was very excited for you.

Haha yea, the Halls Premier is a nice lock. The little tab on the right of the wheel pack is actually a button. You push it in and then unthread the wheel pack.

LocksportSouth wrote:Riyame - That's a helluvu racking unit! Does it need to be fixed to the wall? Looks heavy!

Thankfully no, it is just free standing but can be anchored if need be. It is expandable and completely customization shelving system as well. It is called "Metalsistem" if you want to look it up.

This one had a weight limit of 330 lbs per shelf vs 50-60 for the plastic ones. Since my heavier containers are 50-60 lbs they would not have worked for me  The entire unit only weighs 40 lbs.

You have quite the start on an organization system yourself. Looking good.

Re: Organization!!!

Hugo Martel - Thanks :). Yeah, don't order them from the UK to ship to Canada haha, Do you have an equivalent of B&Q / Home Depot there? Or you could try Amazon :).

Riyame - Ahh, cool - thanks for the info :). Looks cool, that's a lot of strength for fairly low weight too. And, thanks! Getting there :)

Re: Organization!!!

This thread is just what I needed. I have been getting my work trying to figure out some organization for my work table. I have my pin kits and I just bought a Dremel work station, soldering iron, engraver etc. I'm moving all my locks around and even got rid.of some normal Master locks.

Damn that Amazon, I'm addicted and I can't stop buying tools.

Home Depot sell's ones like these under the "Husky" Brand name ;)

if you saw the amounts of pills I take...

I had just finished trying to impression a padlock when I took the picture of the vice so the files are lying around a bit... no luck on the padlock though, ran out of blanks.

Re: Organization!!!

Welcome to the worlds smallest closet with the most departments. Welcome to my lock storage and display / closet / mini man cave because I can easily walk into this closet / tool storage/display and whatever else you want to call it.

My current board is full as you can see but my plan is to ether put another board on the opposite side of that wall OR get another one of those organizers OR get something small that can fit into that corner with draws OR a combination of either so I can combine the same markers and only have real collectible stuff hanging because too much space is taken up by nothing special.

Re: Organization!!!

There is more stuff above in that picture and on the back wall of the closet too plus the entire second shelf is also with tools and stuff. Made those shelves myself :). This goes out to all of you guys who have 2 car garages full of space, if you ever get the feeling your running out of space, give me a call and we can switch any time :)

I pick and ship but pictures like that make me want to rethink my non-collecting stance and begin hoarding.

Ah! That's the pegboard you were talking about - very cool :). You've got loads of cool stuff, very nice! Is that a metal or wood pegboard?
