Longhorn Lockpicking Club

We've amassed a rather large collection of locks over the years for Longhorn Lockpicking Club. I took a picture last time I was sorting through everything... here's roughly 2/3 of the collection:

We have a few fun high security locks (pics later perhaps), but the sheer volume of practice locks amused me when it took up a good deal of my living room floor :)

Holy cow, my local hackerspace is starting a lockpicking group. I don't think they even have 1% of what you have there!

Re: Longhorn Lockpicking Club

lol... NICE! Hopefully the picks are just as plentiful?!

My eyes were naturally drawn to the handful of safe locks you guys have. lol
I really like the dials on those Diebolds. Of course I'd notice those first since
I received one a while back that was not useable. I had to use a different dial
on it unfortunately. A shame really, since I really liked the looks of it.

Thanks for sharing. I enjoyed lookin' :D

Good to see you too! Heh, I remember the days when I would lug locks in a backpack across campus to the meetings. These days we have a handtruck with cases full of locks and gear for meetings, but still plenty of the collection chills at my apartment.

WHERE DID YOU GET A PICTURE OF MY BASEMENT?!

That is a nice assortment of locks. We have quite a few items in our locksport group, mostly practice stands with locks mounted in them. Myself and other members bring different locks to each meeting.

That would satisfy my mortise cylinder fetish for about two seconds.

The code is hidden in the tumblers. One position opens the lock, another position opens one of these doors...

You could only pick all those mortise cylinders in 2 seconds if they were already mounted in vices. If they were, it would not surprise me if you could get them all in 2 seconds. :whip:
