Forum rules
This subforum is for members wishing to donate spare items for sale or auction, with all proceeds going towards KeyPicking forum operating expenses.

Items will be listed as either a fixed price or auction to the highest bidder.

Rules:
1) If you wish to list an item for donation purposes in this sub-forum, please contact ElbowMacaroni and MBI directly via PM, or send an email to kpmgmt@keypicking.com (this address will reach both of us) – and specify whether you want to offer it for AUCTION or FIXED PRICE. Include the text of what you want to post so we can review it before you post it on the forum.

3) If SELLER prefers to donate item(s) to Keypicking outright and forego the shipping arrangements to the BUYER – contact us so we arrange the details.

4) A BUYER interested in purchasing an item for the FIXED PRICE should post it as a reply in the forum thread then contact us (ElbowMacaroni and MBI via PM or email to kpmgmt@keypicking.com) for payment and shipping arrangements.

5) All bids should be openly posted as replies in the thread listing the item.

6) Payments must be submitted via PayPal (link on the main portal page).

Medeco Classic Cutaway Auction

Here I have a Medeco Classic KIK cutaway with one working key. This cutaway was made by a member that no longer shows up around here. That member was James504. I miss James, and would feel bad about just selling this lock, that he put so much time into, on ebay. So, I'm selling it here to help benefit the forum and to insure that this piece of lock-art goes to another member of Keypicking.com.
This cutaway is missing the driver and key pin in the last pin chamber, but thats an easy fix. It has some surface scratches, but some wet sanding would brighten this cutaway to a golden shine, the same shine it was delivered to me with. The key turns the lock over, but it sticks a little when you try to turn it counter-clockwise; though it turns both ways. This cutaway has been with me during the best of times and worst. I've lost it and found it a couple of times and its moved with me through my journeys of life. It means a lot to me and I really hope the winning bidder sees the beauty in it, like I do.
A portion of the auction proceeds will benefit Keypicking.com. Instead of donating 10%, I pledge to donate 50%. Shipping will be free and the lock will be shipped via USPS Small Flat Rate Box with Delivery Confirmation. The Auction starts now and will end in 7 days from the time this thread is published. Good luck and bid with vigor. This lock is special and half the proceeds will be used to keep Keypicking.com beating strong!
*****Auction Starts at $9.99 and ends on 6/16 at 10:00pm

Thanks Mr Sour, that's very generous of you. That'll definitely help us move towards our goal of getting the Keypicking shirts made.

Shall we assume the ending time to be at 10pm Eastern Standard Time on the final day?

$55

Wonderful way to work it Sour! Very generous of you.

I too miss James. I could relate with him a great deal. I often wonder how he is. I hope he is well.
His work was truly amazing. Done completely by hand... no mill involved!
Many hours went into each and every one of his cutaways.

I hope this goes for rediculously high dollar and benefits this site I've come to love so much.

I'm short on money at the moment otherwise I'd bid. I wanted to say that I miss James also. If you are reading this James, we love you man and wish you well. We are a non-judgemental bunch and we haven't forgotten about you.
