Home made pick

Forum rules
This subforum is for members wishing to donate spare items for sale or auction, with all proceeds going towards KeyPicking forum operating expenses.

Items will be listed as either a fixed price or auction to the highest bidder.

Rules:
1) If you wish to list an item for donation purposes in this sub-forum, please contact ElbowMacaroni and MBI directly via PM, or send an email to kpmgmt@keypicking.com (this address will reach both of us) – and specify whether you want to offer it for AUCTION or FIXED PRICE. Include the text of what you want to post so we can review it before you post it on the forum.

2) SELLERS wishing to be reimbursed for postage should advise us directly so we can make proper arrangements. Otherwise, it will be assumed that the SELLER is also donating the postage and shipping costs of the item(s) sold or auctioned.

3) If SELLER prefers to donate item(s) to Keypicking outright and forego the shipping arrangements to the BUYER – contact us so we arrange the details.

4) A BUYER interested in purchasing an item for the FIXED PRICE should post it as a reply in the forum thread then contact us (ElbowMacaroni and MBI via PM or email to kpmgmt@keypicking.com) for payment and shipping arrangements.

5) All bids should be openly posted as replies in the thread listing the item.

6) Payments must be submitted via PayPal (link on the main portal page).

Home made pick

Hello everyone,

I have been gone for some time now and I was thinking about what a good first post would be. So I decided an auction would be a good place to start so here it is. The pick handle is hardwood with a nice grain. There a two solid steel pins. The pick has a full tang so it should perform well.

If you need any more information of pictures just let me know.
The winning bidder pays directly to KP and I will cover the shipping.
The auction ends in 10 days May 1st.
Starting bid 1$

 GOOD LUCK

Re: Home made pick

Little bit of info for ya ;)

Auctions have previously not been allowed on the forum, aside from an exception made for someone last year. However since elbowmacaroni, jruther and I took over the site we've had several requests from members here to be able to do auctions on the BST board since eBay won't allow auctions on lockpicks and related items. We've discussed it and we're in the process of rewriting the site rules to allow auctions here, but this is basically the gist of it:

*The auction should have a clearly defined starting bid price, and ending time and date (including time zone, to avoid misunderstandings).

*Shipping costs need to be specified.

*10% of the final selling price must be donated by the seller to keypicking.com to help cover the costs of site hosting.

*The auction should be posted here only (it's confusing for bidders to keep track of bids placed across multiple websites).

*Once any bids have been placed, the seller makes a binding agreement to sell the item to the high bidder for the agreed upon price (i.e. no selling it on the side, or backing out if it sells cheaper than the seller hoped).

If this works for you, go ahead and make a followup post in this thread with your auction details.

Ok, if you really want it, I relent.

So I guess this auction ends today. I don't know what time though.
