Re: 2010 Dimple Lock Contest Video Entries

Here is my entry.

The pick enters the lock at 0:51 and the lock is picked at 2:21.
:???: Unless you are counting getting the passive pins past the regular driver pins, then I guess I'm disqualified for not SPP it... [Edit: No, you ARE NOT disqualified - HC]

And some higher quality pictures of my home made dimple lock.

Not a problem if:

E) Length of membership and post count minimum requirements are waived for members that (i) are moderators or admins, (ii) or have made paid donations/contributions to the forum, and (iii) have had no disciplinary actions against them as per Item D, above.

But really, this is irrelevant for newbies - as this contest is for "Advanced" pickers. We have boatload of old hands on here that meet the criteria without having made any donations.

What exactly is an advanced picker?

If the hardest lock you've picked is a Master 3, then you are not advanced.

However, if you have been picking for a couple of years and know your way around a set of :serkeypin: :spkeypin: :mush: :stddriver: :assaspool: :serrated: :stdkeypin: :barrel: :dblspool: :angspool: :spool: :spoorated: pins and can kick most locks asses with impunity, then you are probably advanced enough.
