...and the Winner is...

L0ckp1cker!
Congratulations on your great entry! You are the winner of the $100/50£ Gift Certificate from Alan @ UKLockpickers.co.uk!

And following very closely in 2nd place with – Mento0smann!

You will win an 11 pc KLOM pick set from UKLockpickers!

Ultimately Alan had to make a very difficult decision between these two finalists. Although 1 pt separated the the two finalists - it was the pin combination that gave l0ck1picker the win!

Everybody take a few moments to watch their entries and please give them a pat on the back for a job well done!

Re: ...and the Winner is...

ATTENTION ALL MEMBERS!

Due to complete stupidity on my part, I neglected to enter Jruther2's and Steve14's entries into the contest for judging.

I will man-up and make no excuses except to say I fucked up, and I will make it up to these two guys.

What I did was not fair to either Jruther or Steve14 and I would like to publicly apologize to the both of them. I did not do this out of malice or spite - it was just a stupid omission by me. Consequently, I hope that my following solution will be acceptable to the both of you:

Jruther2 and Steve14 - will each of you accept an 11 pc KLOM pick set as recompense for my lack of attention to detail - and thus costing you a chance at winning?

If this is fair then I will go ahead and get Alan to ship them out to you - and I'll pay the tab. Just PM me with your names and addresses and I'll get it set up.

If this is not acceptable, then let me know what you will require to be satisfied.

Once again, I apologize for my fuck-up.

Re: ...and the Winner is...

Mistakes happen. No biggie as far as I'm concerned, I was just wondering how I scored compared to the rest...always wanting to improve. ;) No recompense required for me. The winners were great entries! Thanks for the offer.

Re: ...and the Winner is...

Hallis and Jruther2, hats off to you guys, Hallis your honesty is very cool and Jruther2 to not accept the offer, your a pretty stand up guy, not many people left in this world like the two of ya. But that is a pretty cool set!! are ya having second thoughts? I am sorta with you, I get so much out of this site, just the value of everybodys knowledge is my compensation evertime I log in.

That's the problem - I never submitted your entry - as well as JRuther2's vid to the other mods for consideration.

Personally, I'd have given you a 10 - can't give you 12 as the lock was only 5 pins.

But I've picked several 5200's and one 5300 - and I know they are a bitch. In addition, you had some wicked key bitting in that puppy - but you made quick work out of it.

Good job.

[Edit: BTW, Jruther2 - you would have gotten a 12 from me on that Draper. Nasty bitting, good speed - plus 2 extra points for 6 pins.]

It's spelled Squire big dawg  MentoOsmann and 7CS7 had the Draper's.
