VSP older trunk

A waitress at a bar I frequent has asked me for a key to an old trunk she has. It's from her grandparents who move here from Italy. The only info I have is its a double sides lock (with a split in the middle of the key - making two slots in the lock for the key) and that is says Made in Italy And VSP. Anyone know anything about these?

Re: VSP older trunk

Sometimes warded, but sometimes lever. Used to open them with bobby pins when I was a kid.

Re: VSP older trunk

I've never heard of that vsp. A picture may help me remember something... but I guess you could easily pick that with an L shaped wire.

Cheers :)
