Hard as Heck to pick this Schlage

Got this Schlage lock today, and it is putting up a mother of a fight! The key works fine, and there are no security pins. Any ideas? ***asked with an innocent expression***

Yes, the new Schlage DiscLock. As pick resistant and bump-proof as an Abloy!

That is both cool and uncool at the same time. Do you have a key?

The code is hidden in the tumblers. One position opens the lock, another position opens one of these doors...

Re: Hard as Heck to pick this Schlage

Yes, I do. The Schlage rim cylinder already had a DiscLock KIK in it, but no key. When I saw it in a bag-o-Abloys given to me by a local lockie, I just about flipped. My first thought was posting it. Rekeyed it to a key I already had, and thought I would share.

Re: Hard as Heck to pick this Schlage

I thought it looked exactly like an Abloy.
So Abloy and Schlage are now joined?
That is the first one of those I have seen.
I have seen removable cores for schlage with Abloy stamped on the face.

No, they are not joined. It is an Abloy KIK in a Schlage housing.

But when you get finished picking that one have a crack at this one

@Riy - Those Schlage locks are getting better all the time! ;-). Doubt I will be successfully picking mine any time soon, let alone yours!
