Well, once again guys... much appreciated. As I said, history/research is not one of my strong points.

These are both beautiful, BEAUTIFUL locks! I'll be seeing Dave soon, and I'm sure
he'll be overjoyed with some of the info you all have set forth. I'll simply present it...
and leave it to him to sift through and make sense of it all I suppose. lol

Hey Oldfast,

I found some more information for you, it seems like F.Sengpiel did just produce the cover for these type of padlock. There is a collector called "Gordon Huse" he seems to have more then 40 !!! of those locks :shock:

Your welcome mate!

I actually got myself a padlock of those too but mine is in a VERY bad shape! So I am cleaning that at the moment. I would like to have more of those padlocks but they seem to be rare. I will also contact the guys in Velbert next year to verify this information.

check out this safe i found on that site http://myvimu.com/exhibit/7398917-corli ... ng-corliss dang! no one's gonna be using a destructive entry on that thing anytime soon.... 13,500 pounds with 9.5" thick walls :shock:
