Dead Work Truck

Was hiking around on some mountain property and saw this old dead locksmith truck. The owner of the property said I could rummage around in it, their wasn't much in it but I scavenged a few padlocks to play around with. The locks were in bad shape, when I got home I put some oil on them and let them sit for a couple of days, it seemed to loosen most of them up.

The padlocks should make for a couple of hours of entertainment anyway.

The Slaymaker second row from the bottom far right is the first lock I ever picked. The locks are great but, the truck would be the thing to take home.

I could get the truck, I might for a storage shed. As far as making it run I have no interest in making old cars run anymore (frustrating money pits. lol)
I wouldn't mind making it into a tool shed though.

It crossed my mind but I thought "what the hell would I do with this..?". If I had a key cutting machine I might hack up some blanks and try to learn how to cut keys. I am sure it will still be there so I could pick it up if I every find a use for it.

Van looks amazing. BTW which year is it?

Nice key rack, wondering might get at least a couple of hindered dollars just for this vintage key rack at an antique shop.

I am not sure what year it is? I looked at the plates to see when it was last registered but the stickers were wore off. I might have to take a look in the glove box or under the hood next time I am there.

--------------------------------------------------------

I grabbed a couple of key sets while I was there, I think they are "try out keys"(correct me if I am wrong) One is for old Ford vehicle keys, one is Weiser keys, and the others I am not sure what they are for? But more then half of the other ones are cut the same and stamped "915" So I am wondering why would a locksmith have 30 of the same keys? For a school? or commercial building?
