Big enough lock?

My wife and son were in Wisconsin recently, and my son insisted that my wife take a picture of a lock located at House On The Rock...

For a sense of scale, notice that that 'fence' to the left of the lock is actually the railing for a floor. Yes, the lock looks to be about 2 1/2 feet (76 centimeters) tall!

Look closely at the picture, and you will see the key is on the ledge below the lock. The key is probably 15 inches (38 centimeters) long.

Wish I had seen it in person!

Re: Big enough lock?

I am much more curious to know what is behind that door. Or maybe the door should remain locked for my safety?
