Can anyone identify the model of this stainless steel Yale

It is 63mm (2.5 inches) wide, 56mm (2.25 inches) high, and 25mm (1inch) thick, and the shackle is 12.5mm (0.5 inches) in diameter. It weighs 750g. There is no model number on it anywhere. Any Yale experts online that can help identify which model it is?

That thing is vintage, possibly 1960's-1980's, or possibly even older than this range, gonna be hard pressed to find a model number unless someone has some old catalogs kicking around.

does it say Yale & Towne, Made in USA on the back?

Also, at the end of the day, will knowing the exact model number be that important? I've driven myself crazy like this before spending hours on the web looking up some old lock that probably never had a model number like modern parts have these days.

good luck

I thank you for your reply Squelchtone.

It is in remarkably good condition for a vintage lock; the scratch, from 4 o'clock to 6 o'clock, is not visible to the naked eye. I can only see it through a magnifying glass.

There is no text on the other side, other than a repetition of the text you see. I purchased it here in the UK.

I am fascinated by it, and would love to know its history, but agree that knowing the parts number is not that important...

I know they were using that logo in the mid to late 70’s, but don’t know if it was used earlier.
