Guess I was bored at work and wanted to use a lock

Slow day at work, so made a key for this lock:



Then decided I needed something to use the lock with. So made a box out of scrap Masonite (essentially, Masonite is sawdust that is glued and compressed together) and hinges.



What is the box for? To protect something delicate but fun.



Tiny quadcopter and remote control.



But why that extra hinge on the side where the quadcopter was, you ask? Well, since you asked...



Yeah, a second nano-quadcopter.

Nothing else inside.

OK, that is what I do when I need to find something to do. Hate sitting still doing nothing.

Unfortunately, it is not a cush job, and I certainly wish I did not have the time to do this sort of thing at work. Am a mechanic, so when I am not working, I'm not getting paid. But when the work is not there, want to do something.

Already did. That is a much quicker way to get close on the key - pick it, and see about what the cut depths should be.

Haha i was referring to using the quads in flight! One to hold the wrench and one for the pick. Now that would be impressive and probably get the CIA's attention for covert entry technique.
