Odd Kwikset

Saw this deadbolt last night. It almost looks like someone milled out the metal in front of the first pin. Would that make it bump proof?

Re: Odd Kwikset

Looks like a Kwikset Ultramax. I think its a 6-pin and it has spools. I could be wrong. Very sloppy tolerances should make for easy picking. The recessed first keypin chamber like I believe is there to help you insert the key easier.

Re: Odd Kwikset

OK, that explains why it was so hard to pick. Thanks!
