I have this green construction core that was my first victim. I tapped the chambers with a 5/40 forming tap. Then I reloaded the core, installed the springs, and the setscrews. I had to tap the pins in each hole carefully as the forming tap makes threads that are a tiny bit wider than the hole in the core. As you see, chambers 1 and 2 are flush. Chamber 5 would not allow the key to go in when tightened down all the way, but I can grind the setscrew down a bit. This lock appears to have SHORT springs which were compressed nicely.
