American/Master padlocks Date Codes

Dose Any One Have Any Info On The New System of Dating Their Locks Now ? The One On The Left Is The New Lock I Just Got And The One On The Right Is The Older One ...

Interesting. Just checked their site and for the latest information on date coding, and it still shows the old method of date coding in the current service manual. Did not know they had changed it. Will check further.
