A cliffhanger?! So how far was he able to read the tags from?

He mentioned in the beginning of the video that he was able to read them from a couple hundred feet. But I suppose it would depend on the tag too, some use encryption, some are self powered, most rely on an antenna to induce enough current to power the transmission. I suspect this would only work with the self-powered ones.
