Koguntetzu's pick pics

its been quite a long time since ive been on this site, due to my computer frying itself. but i finally got a new computer and am able to post pictures.
im only posting the pics of the locks i picked at the time that i had felt impressed about being able to pick them (unless ive lost the pics of them in which case i'll re-take said pics). locks i found were too easy wont be included here.
and so, without further adeu... LOCK PORN!

I know it may not seem like much, but this lock gave me so many problems (still does from time to time)

This one was a bit easier but still fun to pick
Image

This one gave me huge problems till i tried going in with a diamond and a BOK
Image
Image

This was my first 6 pin lock achieved (although after achieving the first pick, it became astoundingly easy to get open so i gave it to a picker in training)
Image

This lock just happened to be sitting on the railing near the bart station unattended and lonely so i brought it home with me

And THIS lock is and forever shall be EVIL

Yeah, I've had more than one Abus that has given me a really hard time.
A couple of them gave almost no feedback whatsoever.

thanks! i was only able to get that one with a deforest pick and man it still gives me trouble. if i had the means to make videos, it would probably take me over an hour on cam to get that.

Re: Koguntetzu's pick pics

Look very closely at your U Haul lock, is there a lip and flange on the plug to keep shims out of the keyway from the front?

By shims, I mean a piece of metal as thin as that piece that is found inside a flat plastic capsule taped on high ticket items at the local computer store, the plastic capsule can be cut open and a piece of this thin metal can be started down the shearline from the front of the lock on certain locks where this lip and flange were either not present or vestigial and not a blockage to a shim.

I have found a storage place that has a huge set of "See Manager" locks that simply do not have the flange that keeps shims off the shearline.

If there is no obstacle to the shim on your U Haul, let us know.
